The Penguin is an enemy of Batman's and a chief crime boss in Gotham City. Having been ostracized as a child for his pointed nose, obesity, and short stature, Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot would then later become a gentleman of crime, having had an aristocratic background. He would then name himself as The Penguin, one of the names from his childhood. The Penguin would operate in various crimes, leading many underlings in his crooked schemes. He would later open up the Iceberg Lounge nightclub and operate in underground racket dealings under the guise of being reformed. Unlike most of the other Batman rogues, the Penguin is not insane and has no obssessions, although he is fond of birds. He is a genius and also wields various trick umbrellas containing weapons and gadgets, as well as being a master of Judo. In Lego Batman: The Video Game, he leads Bane, Killer Croc, Catwoman, and Man-Bat. In the game he can call out robotic penguins from under his top hat. He can also use his umbrella to glide and as a rifle.
