Fred is one of the members of the Weasley family. Along with George Weasley, he is the family jokester and more than once his and Georges mischief have helped Harry Potter in a challenge. He owns a joke shop along with his brother. He was murdered by Augustus Rookwood (a Death Eater) on May Second, 1998 during the Battle of Hogwarts.
