Obi-Wan Kenobi was one of the most famous Jedi Knights in the galaxy, along with his apprentice, Anakin Skywalker. He was a Padawan to Qui-Gon Jinn. Soon, Anakin Skywalker joined the dark side and became the evil Darth Vader. Obi-Wan then went into hiding, only to wait until Anakin's son, Luke Skywalker, was old enough to be trained in the Jedi arts. Obi-Wan became Luke's mentor, continuing to teach and help Luke after his death, aboard the Death Star in a duel with Darth Vader, in the form of a Force Ghost. When the time came, Luke became a skilled Jedi Knight and pilot, destroying the Death Star, and soon living through two duels with Darth Vader, turning Vader back to the light side in the second one, contributing to the defeat of the evil Palpatine and the Death Star II.
