Count Dooku, also known as Darth Tyranus was a Sith Lord who was once a Jedi Master before he turned to the dark side. He trained Qui-Gon Jinn in the Jedi arts, but later seperated from the Jedi Order. As a Sith, he trained Asajj Ventress as a Dark Acolyte and General Grievous in lightsaber combat. His lightsaber has a unique curved design, unlike most other lightsabers. He later gave Ventress lightsabers of the same curved design. During the Battle of Coruscant, he held Chancellor Palpatine (secretly his master, Darth Sidious) captive aboard a CIS capital ship. But he was killed on its bridge by Anakin Skywalker.
