Anakin Skywalker was first introduced in The Phantom Menace, as a young slave on Tatooine. When He first met Qui-Gon Jinn, the Jedi knew the boy was "The Chosen One". He depended on the boy to win the podrace event, but had no need to doubt. After leaving the planet, the boy was to be determined whether to become a Jedi apprentice or not. After a the Battle of Naboo and his Jedi friend Qui-Gon's death, he was to be trained by the newly anointed Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi. Though Obi-Wan had some trouble with his older apprentice, the two soon forged a bond. But this bond was not enough to stop Anakin from secretly marrying Padme Amidala and betraying his master to the Sith lord Darth Sidious, also known as Emperor Palpatine. He raised a padawan named Ahsoka Tano. He also fought alongside Captain Rex during the Clone Wars. Soon, though, Obi-Wan discovered the lies after Skywalker's fall to the dark side. After choking his pregnant wife to near death, he was nearly killed by Kenobi after a heartbreaking duel of heroes. After Palpatine found his salvaged body, he was revived and became Darth Vader, the scene which is showcased in the Episode III set 7251 Darth Vader Transformation. He soon joins Emperor Palpatine in ruling the galaxy, with the help of the newly established Galactic Empire. Afterwards, Darth Vader finds that his son and daughter are head leaders in the Rebel Alliance, a group of freedom fighters who wish to free the galaxy of the evil Anakin brought amongst them. After several attempts to kill his son, in the final battle, Anakin is turned back to the light side of the force by his son, Luke Skywalker, who then defeats Emperor Palpatine and the Empire with the help of his father. Shortly afterwards, Anakin dies.
